went to Mexico yesterday with my aunt and cousins we crossed a river to get there, its this tradition for the first Friday in March a lot of people from Guatemala cross to go shopping in Mexico, they have really good deals but its also a really big festive day I wish I would've taken more pictures I told my mom I was going and she said she went with my dad when they were younger I love hearing about how they were as teens and what they did I kept thinking about how they would've spent the day. i bought a bunch of souvenirs for my loved ones, and ate good food, I tried pozole for the first time it was so fire. at the end of the night its a fair and they had music blaring, I was too shy to dance but people were dancing and drinking beer then it started raining like pouring and people were still dancing I feel like such a vouyer when im immersed in my culture like a feeling of detachment, it was beautiful tho I loved being there the whole experience was so new and I saw so many beautiful things
